Frequently asked questions
How long will it take to receive my print?
Pre-designed prints typically ship in less than 72 hours. Shipping time depends on the destination and mail class, but most orders shipping standard delivery within the US arrive in 3 business days.
Custom prints have to be designed and approved before the printing process can begin. The amount of time this takes can very, but I'll typically reach out with a proof in about 24 hours (48 in the busy season). Keep an eye on your inbox! The most common cause for delayed prints is not hearing back from you.
Important: Once the design is approved, I have no way of altering the print without incurring additional costs. Please check your proof carefully!
Will I see a preview of the design before it's sent to print?
Yes! After you place your order, keep an eye on your inbox for a message from me with a design proof- usually within about 24 hours. You can then respond with any edits you'd like, and once I get your approval I'll send to print! Be aware that once the design is approved I have no way of altering the print. Please check your proof carefully!
Please note: If a week has passed and I still haven't heard back from you after multiple Etsy messages and emails, I will assume I won't hear back from you and I will submit it to print without your approval.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Unfortunately from time to time orders are damaged in-transit. In this case I happily provide free priority re-shipments. All you have to do is send me a message with photos of the damage. I'll process a re-shipment and let you know when it's on the way!
I approved the design proof, but now that it's printed I realized there's a typo. Help!
I understand, mistakes happen, and I don't want to profit from them. So if a typo slips past the approval process I happily offer edits/reprints as cheaply as possible. Basically it just covers the cost of printing, shipping, and fees (no extra profits come my way.) I may request payment through PayPal instead of Etsy to save on transaction fees. Send me a message to get the process started!
Printing tips for digital items
- Print at 100% (do not scale)
- Use your printer's highest quality setting
- Photo paper is best but any paper will do
- Use a ruler and an Xacto knife to trim your prints
- For larger prints, use a nearby print shop for the highest quality
